Day 1
accommodation on the spectacular estate nestled in the Veronese hills. It has breathtaking architecture: modern and innovative, it is the perfect place to relax by the pool with a good glass of wine in hand, just to get into the Veronese atmosphere a bit. We dine at the estate restaurant and indulge in a carefree evening.
Day 2
an hour away from the hotel is the renowned Lake Garda, that hosts the Zenato Academy: a project of the omonimous winery founded by Sergio Zenato in 1960, a permanent laboratory for study and experimentation in the cultural field, particularly in the area of photography. We participate in their Classic tour that includes a visit to the vineyard and tasting of selected wines accompanied by typical products. We then go down to the center of Peschiera del Garda to have lunch and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Garda. We move to Soave to admire a true architectural spectacle, the new Pieropan Winery. An underground construction, completely buried in the hillside except for the façade, which winds sinuously and is completely clad in Vicenza stone. A project of innovation and integration with the territory so much so that it received the Architecture and Landscape- Best of Wine Tourism Award. Here we can take a guided tour of the winery and taste some of their wines. Walk through the historic center to admire it from the majestic Scaliger Castle that towers above it. As the sun sets, we return toward our estate, nestled in the picturesque hills of Verona
Day 3
in Arbizzano di Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella, is the "Vigneto dei Salumi.", created by the Ceraldini family. Unique in its kind, this space seems otherworldly, a perfect marriage of food-territory-tradition, it is an explosion of tastes, scents and stories. The artisanal production is of the highest level. The tasting is a play: a family member tells his story and products as if he were an actor decanting a poem, praising slowness, inviting the guest to a slow tasting with eyes closed to awaken all the senses. If you have chosen the 4-day formula, it is time for lunch and we move on to Verona. After lunch we have time to relax a little, have a good glass of wine and enjoy the magic of the city. But how to experience Verona as a real play? Romeo and Juliet will lead us through the city, with a theatrical tour of the most picturesque places, protagonists of the poignant story of Shakespeare...and more! We prepare for the evening, which continues under the banner of art and beauty. How can we miss the majestic Arena of Verona? According to the schedule of events we may decide to attend a performance in a unique setting. We are ready to return to our estate.
Day 4
the Veronese countryside still has much to offer us: we can decide to move to the Lands of Custoza and take a nice horseback ride and then enjoy a glass of wine at the winery. Or we can move almost to the border with Lombardy and ride our e-bike between the medieval castle of Villafranca di Verona and the magical Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy where we can taste a real specialty: tortellini from Valeggio sul Mincio!
