A weekend of biking into nature, with the wind in your hair, around castles and ancient walls. The authentic Veneto among some of the most beautiful villages in Italy, cycling between Battaglia Terme, Monselice, Arquà Petrarca and the Euganean Hills.

A bike, a map, the gentle Euganean Hills emerging from the Po Valley, the castles guarding this land and the villages nestled and hidden in the shade of trees. Spend a weekend cycling along the Euganean Hills path, discovering an area just a stone’s throw from Venice, dipping yourself in nature, vineyards and the history of those who in the past made these hills their home by building the gorgeous Catajo Castle in Battaglia Terme, Villa dei Vescovi, the walled cities of Este and Monselice and the villages designated today as “the most beautiful villages in Italy.”

Day 1
Arrival in Galzignano and bike delivery at the point the hotel. Depart for the E2 Cycle Ring with your GPS maps until you reach Battaglia Terme, immediately recognizing the majestic Catajo Castle. The ride continues until reaching Praglia Abbey, a Benedictine museum symbol of the Euganean Hills. From here we reach the fascinating Villa dei Vescovi, which can be visited thanks to the FAI (Italian ambiental foundation). Arrival at our farmhouse in the northern part of the Euganean Hills and delicious dinner.

Day 2
Today we set off for the walled city of Este and its Carrarese Castle, with its elegant squares. Pedaling alongside the Bisatto Canal, a waterway without which trachyte could not have been transported to build St. Mark's Square in Venice, you will reach another walled city that has preserved its charm over time: Monselice and its castle. Once here, a detour to Arquà Petrarca it's almost mandatory: this village, made famous thanks to its famous inhabitant Francesco Petrarca, is now recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. On the way to the hotel a brief stop should be made at Villa Selvatico in Battaglia Terme. Arrival at the hotel, bike drop-off and dinner.

Day 3
After a hearty breakfast and check-out, it's time to relax in Europe's oldest spa. You can pamper yourself amidst the soothing hot waters, massages, and rejuvenating paths for mind and body.
