A cycling holiday to discover the essence of the Lands of Venice: Terme Euganee, Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, Venice and its famous Lido.

The Veneto Ring is a circular cycling route that passes through the foot hills and stopping at the most beautiful cities in the Region: Padua and the thermal baths, Vicenza the city of Palladio, Treviso and its rolling hills and the iconic Venice with its famous Lido.

Day 1
The tour starts from Abano/Montegrotto. Check-in at the hotel and bike fitting. Free time: the spas of Abano and Montegrotto are the perfect idea to recover after a long trip, before starting to pedal through the lands of Venice.

Day 2
We bike along the Brenta river in the direction of Piazzola sul Brenta. This small town is home to one of the most beautiful and impressive Palladian villas, also called the small Versailles: Villa Contarini. Then we continue on the Treviso-Ostiglia cycle path, which will lead us near Montegalda to cross the Bacchiglione river, towards to the city of Palladio: Vicenza. Day 3
Continuing on the journey toward Bassano del Grappa, we encounter a path rich in landscape and artistic impressions, with many rural buildings and stunning villas. Sandrigo, known because it keeps the tradition of preparing the famous baccalà alla vicentina alive; Marostica famous throughout the world for the chess game that is held in the beautiful Piazza degli Scacchi every two years. Last but not least, the typical products like the cherries! The stage ends in Bassano del Grappa, located along the Brenta river and at the foot of Monte Grappa, famous for the wooden bridge designed by Palladio and that became the symbol of the Alpini. Day 4
Let’s enter Marca Trevigiana, with a visit to Asolo, the city of a hundred horizons and with a beautiful view on the hills with dense rows of vines. In this paradise, drinking a glass of Prosecco in one of the many “osterie” - typical taverns is an experience for all senses. Day 5
Greeting Piazza dei Signori with the Palazzo dei Trecento, we leave Treviso and following the course of the Sile river, the longest spring river in Europe, the path leads us on to the pleasant descent toward the Venice lagoon. We encounter centers of interest such as Casier or Casale sul Sile. Once you reach Quarto d'Altino, the sea breeze brings the scents of the lagoon. Day 6
Let’s set off by bike from Mestre and cross the lagoon on the Ponte della Libertà to Tronchetto. With the help of inland waterway transport, you will pedal in in the indisputed kingdom of birds and wind, among the outermost land strips of the Lagoon, and finally reach the renowned Lido di Venezia, famous for the Mostra del Cinema. You can bike up onto the path built on the "Murazzi", large stone boulders arranged to provide defence against heavy seas, adn then through the Alberoni nature reserve with its natural sand dunes covered in wild plants and flowers, then lead to Pellestrina and finally to Chioggia, the "Little Venice" and the sand of Sottomarina. 30 miles (including the inland waterway transport) ↗  40 mt ↘  40 mt

Day 7
With this last stage we retrace the salt road that led to the Venetian cities from the lagoon and you go back to the Euganee Thermal Bath territory, where out tour ends.
